Dheeraj Khatore is CEO of the American Accreditation Commission International (AACI) for India, the Middle East and Africa, and serves on the Board of Directors of AACI America. With over 10 years of experience across clinical practice, emergency medical services, hospital operations, accreditation and digital health, his journey has taken him from nurse to CEO. He previously served as a Quality Auditor with the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi, and as a HEMS Paramedic with Abu Dhabi Aviation, and has led pre-hospital, hospital and air ambulance operations with a focus on quality and patient safety. He holds Master’s degrees in Sustainability from the University of Turin and in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, and has completed the CXO Leadership Program at Cornell University. He is passionate about advancing healthcare through accreditation, innovation and sustainability.
