Amal Mohamed Ismail is a Diagnostic Medical Physicist in the Radiology Department at Al Dhafra Hospitals – SEHA. She is responsible for quality assurance and acceptance testing of diagnostic imaging equipment, radiation protection surveys, shielding calculations, and patient and organ dose assessment, working closely with radiologists and radiographers to ensure the safe use of ionising radiation. She also contributes to radiation safety policies, equipment planning and the training of medical and physics students.
