With 15 years of experience in Infection Prevention and Control, I currently serve as the Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Nurse Manager at Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed Medical City (STMC), leading system‑wide IPC strategies and overseeing multidisciplinary initiatives across the region. I also hold an academic appointment as an Adjunct Faculty at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals through teaching and research mentorship.

I played a key role in hospital commissioning and activation efforts during 2023–2024, supporting the safe and efficient launch of major healthcare facilities. This includes active involvement in activation task forces for STMC and Sheikh Khalifa Fujairah Hospital, ensuring IPC readiness, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence during critical pre‑opening phases.

I serve as the Co‑Chair of the STMC IPC Committee and the Co‑Chair of the Al Ain Region Sustainability Committee, helping drive organizational policies that strengthen patient safety, environmental stewardship, and long‑term healthcare resilience.

I hold a Master’s in Public Health and am a certified infection control professional, with a strong record of collaboration on research initiatives aimed at improving IPC outcomes. My work bridges clinical practice, operational leadership, and academic engagement, with a passion for transforming infection control theory into practical, sustainable, and measurable improvements across healthcare systems
