Hanan is a Corporate Senior Infection Control Officer at SEHA with over a decade of experience in infection prevention and control, patient safety, and healthcare quality improvement. She leads and contributes to system-wide initiatives focused on healthcare-associated infection surveillance, IPC policy standardization, education and training, digital transformation, and performance improvement across SEHA facilities.

She serves as Chair of the 1st International Infection Prevention and Control Symposium at SINMAC 2026 and as Co-Chair of the Emiratis Infection Prevention and Sterilization Society (EIPSS). Her professional interests include translating surveillance data into actionable improvement, strengthening evidence-based IPC practice, advancing research and innovation, and fostering multidisciplinary collaboration to improve patient safety and healthcare outcomes.
