Joma Jacob is an accomplished emergency nurse holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with over 16 years of extensive experience in emergency nursing practice.
Throughout a distinguished career, Joma has demonstrated advanced clinical expertise in high-acuity emergency care, patient flow coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration within demanding emergency department environments.
Currently serving as a Clinical Resource Nurse, Joma is responsible for overseeing emergency department staff competencies, ensuring continuous clinical readiness, and promoting the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care.
Joma is recognized for strong clinical judgment, effective prioritization, and a composed, patient-centred approach during complex and critical situations.
In addition to clinical leadership, Joma is actively engaged in nursing education and professional development, including roles as a symposium facilitator, guest lecturer for postgraduate diploma nursing programs, and Associate Program Director of the Emergency Nursing Residency Program.
Joma is also a certified Basic Life Support (BLS) and Emergency Nursing Paediatric Course(ENPC) instructor.
