Kholoud Khalil Shalanfah is an accomplished nursing leader, Registered Midwife, and healthcare professional with over 18 years of dedicated service at Al Dhafra Hospitals under SEHA. She is recognized for her contributions to nursing excellence, quality improvement, performance management, and professional practice development.
Throughout her career, Kholoud has led and supported a wide range of performance improvement, quality, and nursing excellence initiatives that have contributed to enhanced clinical outcomes, workforce engagement, operational efficiency, and patient-centred care. Her expertise spans healthcare quality, organizational performance, leadership development, shared governance, and professional nursing practice.
Currently serving as Senior Performance & Excellence Nurse and Director of the Pathway to Excellence® Initiative, she leads strategic efforts to strengthen nursing excellence, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and empower healthcare professionals to achieve excellence in practice. Kholoud also supports initiatives that advance staff recognition, professional development, and evidence-based care.
Holding an MBA in Healthcare and Hospital Management and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification and multiple professional certifications.
